Please don't think that I'm ungrateful

My brief words are not meant as hateful.

I really like your garden veggies

But zucchinis give my fridge the wedgies!

I love tomatoes, carrots and spuds

But flavor-wise, zucchinis are duds.

I don't mind a cuke or two, in my mind they're really cool.

So why do you smuggle zucchinis with them?

Do you think me a veggie fool?

Just because they're long and green

They're not a cuke! They're not a bean!

I know a zucchini by the shape, 

The same way that I know a grape.

Stop leaving these monsters at my door

I have enough!  Go next door!
