"Hello, is this the Wrinkled Hand Clinic? I'd like to make an appointment."
Okay, so I'm showing off my new iPhone skin from Bargaincell.com. Can you believe I got this little puppy for only $5.99? No, not the dog. He was free in a funny sort of way. Teddy was from the estate of a dear old friend. But you might want to know why I put Teddy on my iPhone. I had other choices, of course, and choosing not to put myself on there was tough. I briefly thought about my husband's photo, but I'm trying to keep his identity a secret. He's gone so much the neighbors think I'm a widow and they take my garbage out for me.
The real toss-up was between Teddy and the golf cart, which happens to be Teddy's favorite thing. He will easily choose a ride in the golf cart over treats or his favorite food or his delicious heart medicine. (It must be delicious. His little cousin Yumi snatched some from his bowl and she's still throwing up.) And that's why his picture is on my phone. It reminds me that the more frustrating a day might be, the more pleasure it is to see Teddy jumping up and down at the mention of the word "ride." Who could refuse?
