A Dryer or a Dog

Mood Lifter
Boring
Each morning I glance at my phone to see what photos I should share with you. iPhone photos are my new memo book; I use them to chronicle events, record information and amuse myself.
Today's photo was boring indeed, the ID sticker of a broken dryer that needs attention. Just seeing it made me wince, thinking of the errands and chores of the day.
In order to cleanse my attitude, so I took a peek at another folder on my phone which contains this portrait of our dog, Teddy. My Facebook friends might recognize this photo, and are probably tired of seeing our canine cutup. I am still amused by this portrait of what a REAL DOG should be like. Teddy stays close to us; there's always room (in his opinion) next to us on a chair. After all, it's one of the best places to be if we get attacked. Our dog will wear funny glasses. Maybe that's not big on your list of doggie do rights, but in our case it tells us that Teddy trusts us not to hurt him, and that he must obey those who are less hairy than him.
Our dog greets the doorbell barking and snarling  with a viciousness that scares even me. No one enters  this house until Teddy signs off on them.  He's sheltering our small pack of two humans, two birds and himself. He treasures just being with us.
I do the laundry and cleaning around here, but it's clear to me that Teddy is the homemaker.
